The capability statement of Sage Civil Engineering Pty Ltd is “the implementation of a System complying with the requirements of standard ISO9001:2000 for the provision of civil engineering services to the construction industry including: planning and execution of civil works, site preparation, excavation, drainage systems, retaining walls, embankment stabilisation, site remediation, haulage contracting and plant hire”.

Occupational Health & Safety

Sage Civil Engineering operates with an Occupational Health and Safety Management System and our system is certified under the 2001 Australian Standard.

Company Policy in the area of occupational health, safety, fatigue management, welfare and drugs & alcohol is to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all staff, sub-contractors and members of the public. Sage Civil Engineering complies fully with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000 and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 2001. Further, it conforms to the NSW Government “Occupational Health & Safety Management System” Guidelines 4th Edition. The company is committed to the health and safety of all staff and sub-contractors in reducing risks and hazards in the working environment.

Sage Civil Engineering operates with a program of continual improvement of activities relating to Occupational Health & Safety which includes:

• OH&S training and education to all staff
• Induction training for staff and sub-contractors
• Safe workplace design and safe work procedures
• Documentation of Safety rules and penalties

Sage Civil Engineering operates with an Environmental Management System and our system is certified under the ISO 14001 standard.

Consideration for our environment is of the utmost importance and Sage Civil Engineering has implemented a program which takes a proactive approach in considering our environment. The company operates its business with an obligation to best practices on the environment, the prevention of environmental incidents and the utmost consideration to the sustainability of the environment.
